Originally from Wisconsin, I moved to California to attend college and pursue a career in finance. In 2014, I needed to find care for my pets while I was out of town. Not wanting to exhaust the kindness of friends and family, or to board them at a facility, I decided to hire a pet sitter. What a fantastic experience it was and the seed was planted!

After 25 years in finance, I retired from the corporate world (and sitting behind a desk).  Remembering my wonderful pet sitting experience, I began helping local pet sitters with dog walking and pet sitting. I loved it so much that I started Lori's Pet Sitting. It's so rewarding to provide the level of high quality, reliable pet care that I would want as a pet owner. I'm fully insured, bonded and first aid and CPR certified. I also keep informed of the latest in pet care and regularly attend classes in animal behavior, nutrition, aging and enrichment.
